Day 5 – We’re all full of stories
Imagine walking down a busy street without looking at your iPhone? Now picture that street with no lights, few cars and only a handful of people.
What do you hear?
What do you see?
What do you feel?
Along today’s stretch on the Camino De Santiago so many of those senses burst onto this path, as we met the largest hill on the Camino, full of boulders and small streams.
On this hot and sweaty trek I could hear birds that had not sung like that since my summer days in PA…I saw faces of old and young, energetic and exhausted, staring out of their windows…I felt so blessed and so inspired as this path, the way towards Spain, was allowing me to be a part of it.
Along this journey there are people with various backgrounds and stories and everywhere one turns there is a new face, a fresh story. So tonight, as the bruises heal and my dreams come to life, I thank all of those along the Camino for sharing their story on their path.
