Brasil Day 9
Wrapping up this incredible trip now. As I do with all my travels:
At 19, my Dad retired from one of his careers. After calling his office to congratulate him, I was told he already left, but that his shoes were under his old desk. Of course I called home to tell him about his forgotten shoes… Only to hear a story that has forever impacted me.
Thus, for the last decade I’ve left a pair of shoes at every stop along the way, signifying that I left my heart and soul on that particular journey. So, to Brasil, the World Cup, waves, family and the incredible people/stories along the way, thank you for sharing and gifting me the opportunity to be present.
I’ve been exploring for a decade and with each stop have left shoes, as a reminder that I left everything I had on this adventure:
What a match!! Costa Rica and the natural drama of sports. Now, time to head home.
